Economist and Professor of Finance, Professor Godfred Bokpin, has warned that IMF-backed reforms in Ghana must address the country’s long-running energy crisis. According to Professor Bokpin, the reforms should prioritize greater transparency, broader consultation, and a clearly defined role for private-sector participation in Ghana’s electricity distribution sector.
