Hent úr húsi: „Held hann hafi ekki reynt að sparka í typpið á mér“

On Friday, October 31 2026, a controversial incident during an NBA matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets led to the ejection of Suns forward Dillon Brooks. The incident occurred in the third quarter when Brooks, who had been the Suns’ leading scorer, attempted a shot and kicked Nuggets guard Jamal Murray in the leg. The contact was deemed a Flagrant 2 foul by the officiating crew, and Brooks was immediately ejected from the game. Murray, who finished the game with 39 points, said afterward that the kick was accidental and that he and Brooks are friends. “I don’t think he really tried to kick me in the thigh,” Murray told reporters. “He is just shooting the ball. I mean, he could have flopped a bit, but I don’t think he tried to kick me in the thigh.” Brooks had finished the game with 22 points on 9‑of‑12 shooting. The Suns were unable to recover from the incident, and the Nuggets went on to win the game. The referee’s review confirmed the Flagrant 2 designation, which carries a suspension for the offending player. The incident was widely reported on social media, including a tweet from Underdog NBA that read: “Dillon Brooks has been ejected Friday after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul.”
