The Gibraltar Federation of Sea Anglers (GFSA) has teamed up with the GSLA Summer Sports Programme to introduce more young people to the sport of fishing. Through a series of educational seminars and a youth competition, the partnership aims to teach the basics of angling while promoting marine conservation. The initiative comes as interest in fishing among Gibraltar’s youngsters continues to grow. Participants will learn about fishing techniques, equipment, and responsible practices. The programme also emphasizes the importance of protecting marine life and habitats. A youth fishing competition will cap off the sessions, giving participants a chance to put their new skills to the test.
