The Corinth Secondary School cricket team has returned from a fruitful tour of Trinidad & Tobago, where they played four matches against local clubs. The Saint Lucian side won both 50-over encounters but lost both T20 games.
In the first 50-over match, Corinth dismissed the AK Cricket Academy for 168 runs in 37 overs, with Jean Claude Emmanuel among the wicket-takers. The team’s performance was praised by coaches as a valuable learning experience.
The tour aimed to expose the young players to higher-level competition and strengthen cricketing ties between the two countries. Corinth Secondary’s management described the trip as rewarding, highlighting the growth in skill and teamwork.
Despite the T20 losses, the overall tour was considered a success, giving the team a taste of competitive cricket abroad.
