In a significant move towards enhancing public healthcare services in Trinidad and Tobago, the keys to the new Central Block at the Port of Spain General Hospital Campus have been handed over to the Ministry of Health. The handover ceremony was officiated by Works and Infrastructure Minister Jearlean John, marking the completion of one of the country’s most substantial public healthcare infrastructure projects.
The Central Block, a state-of-the-art facility, was constructed by UDeCOTT. It represents a significant step in the government’s efforts to bolster the public health system, signaling a considerable investment in the sector. The completion of this project brings the facility one step closer to becoming fully operational.
