CECAFA U-20: Uganda Hippos advance to semifinals after hard-fought win over Sudan

The Uganda Hippos secured a spot in the semifinals of the CECAFA U-20 Championship following a 1-0 victory over Sudan. The Group B match took place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

The decisive goal was scored by substitute Amour Munogera. Munogera, who plays for Vipers Sports Club, provided the winning effort during the second half of the contest.
