Minister Michelle Benjamin Shops for Supplies Ahead of Moruga Back-to-School Grooming Drive
Minister Michelle Benjamin has been shopping for hair and grooming supplies ahead of a back-to-school initiative aimed at helping children in Moruga prepare for the reopening of school.
Benjamin shared footage of herself purchasing supplies, including hair products and braiding materials, as preparations continue for a Back-to-School Hair Braiding and Barbering initiative at the Moruga Sporting Facility.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., just days before children return to the classroom.
The initiative will provide hair braiding and barbering services for children, helping families complete some of their final preparations for the new academic term.
In promoting the event, Benjamin encouraged parents and guardians to bring their children to the Moruga Sporting Facility on Saturday.
The minister’s shopping trip also offered a behind-the-scenes look at the preparations, with a range of hair products and supplies being secured for use during the initiative.
The programme forms part of efforts within the community to assist families with back-to-school preparations and ensure children can return to school looking and feeling prepared for the new term.
