الجيش الأميركي: تعطيل سفينة شحن حاولت اختراق الحصار البحري على إيران

On 10 October 2026, U.S. Central Command reported that U.S. forces disabled a commercial cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman after the vessel ignored repeated warnings and attempted to breach the maritime blockade imposed on Iran. The ship, identified as the “Ocean Muliqa” (also known as “Arica Sun”) and flying the Panamanian flag, was struck by a U.S. fighter aircraft that fired precision munitions at its rear. The strike disabled the ship’s propulsion system but caused no injuries to the crew, Central Command said in a statement posted on X on 11 October. The incident follows a series of U.S. actions aimed at enforcing the blockade of Iranian shipping. Central Command’s statement emphasized that the ship had attempted to enter Iranian territorial waters after leaving the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, a move that violated the blockade established by the U.S. and its allies. In a separate incident, the British Maritime Trade Operations Authority (BMT) received a report that an oil tanker was struck by an unknown projectile while en route out of the Strait of Hormuz. The projectile hit the tanker’s left side, igniting a fire on board. The crew were reported to be unharmed, but the BMT said that the extent of damage and potential environmental impact were still being assessed. The United States has imposed a comprehensive blockade on Iranian ports and has repeatedly fired upon vessels linked to Iran since the U.S. and Israeli forces struck Iranian targets on 28 February 2026. The blockade has prompted Iranian authorities to claim that they are exercising their sovereign right to navigate the Strait of Hormuz, while U.S. officials maintain that the blockade is a lawful response to Iran’s destabilizing activities in the region. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has returned to diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the conflict in Iran. According to the Kremlin, Putin communicated with former U.S. President Donald Trump, conveying Iran’s position on a potential settlement and coordinating with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. Russian Deputy President Yury Ushakov welcomed Trump’s continued indirect dialogue with Tehran, stating that “diplomatic options have not been exhausted and that a possible and necessary agreement is still within reach.” Raisi, in turn, said that Iran remains committed to negotiations but rejects unilateral positions that impede a settlement. In the nuclear domain, the Kremlin reiterated an offer to accept highly enriched Iranian uranium, noting that Trump had expressed interest in the proposal. The offer was made in the context of ongoing negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program, which have stalled in recent months. Iran’s military leadership has also been preparing for potential incursions. Major General Ali Jahanshahi, commander of the Iranian Army’s ground forces, announced that more than 50 combat and support units have been deployed to advanced positions along the country’s borders. He described the units as comprising mobile infantry, rapid‑response formations, armored and mechanized units, artillery, engineering, missile, and drone elements. Jahanshahi said the units were positioned from the northwest to the southwest, as well as in the eastern and southeastern regions and along the Makran coast. He added that the units had been moved at night under threat of hostile aircraft and drones, and that they continued operations despite harsh weather conditions. Jahanshahi also claimed that Iranian forces had conducted missile attacks and launched
