**Archpriest Spas Rangelov: Let us remember God’s commandments and the intercession of the Mother of God**
On August 15, the Orthodox Church observes the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God, known as Great Bogoroditsa, which is one of the 12 major Christian feasts.
According to Christian tradition, the passing of the Mother of God is not viewed with sorrow, as it represents a transition to eternal life and brings the joy of returning to God.
Reflecting on the holiday, Archpriest Spas Rangelov emphasized the importance of remembering God’s commandments and the ongoing intercession of the Virgin Mary.
