AHMP CON 2026 Chennai Brings Together 640 Delegates, Setting the Stage for the Next Phase of Healthcare Marketing in India

The Association of Healthcare Marketing Professionals (AHMP) India Foundation concluded its AHMP CON 2026 Healthcare Marketing Summit on September 6, 2026, at the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in Porur, Chennai. The event hosted 640 delegates, including professionals from hospitals, clinical practices, marketing agencies, technology firms, and consulting organizations.

The summit, themed “Inspire. Innovate. Transform.,” featured discussions on the evolving landscape of healthcare marketing, specifically addressing the integration of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and changing regulatory requirements. Key sessions covered topics such as the future of hospital marketing teams by 2030, the impact of AI agents on professional workflows, and strategies for navigating compliance standards set by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI), and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.

During the inaugural session, the AHMP introduced its Vision 2030 and the AHMP ASCENT initiative. The organization outlined its 2027 priorities, which include expanding engagement across India, establishing four zonal committees, and fostering stronger collaboration between industry and academia to develop ethical marketing standards.

Mohamed Ilias, Chairperson of the AHMP India Foundation, stated that the summit highlighted a demand for a professional community focused on education, regional engagement, and responsible marketing practices.

The event also featured the Healthcare Marketing Maestros Awards 2026. Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Suganthy Sundararaj, Senior Public Relations Specialist and Regional PR Head at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, and Prof. Dr. Ashok Thiakarajan. Additionally, 27 Gold and Silver awards were distributed across categories including innovation, digital campaigns, patient communication, and community impact. Organizational winners included MI Labs/Askeva, Unicus Technology Private Limited, MGM Healthcare, BCC Healthcare Branding, Devadoss Hospital, and Ortho-One.
