The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), through its development impact investment arm, the Fund for Export Development in Africa (FEDA), has appointed One Street Studios as co-general partner of the Pan-African Film Fund. The fund targets up to US$1 billion for Africa’s film and creative industries. Launched in May 2025 under Afreximbank’s Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) programme, the fund aims to catalyse investment in African storytelling and production. One Street Studios will help manage the fund and identify projects that can drive economic growth and cultural export. This appointment marks a significant step in scaling up support for the continent’s creative economy.
