Skagamenn skipta um Kana

Skagamenn, the basketball club competing in Iceland’s Bæjarins Beztu deildinni, announced a roster change on 8 November 2026. The club confirmed that American player Marcus Tsohonis will be returning home. In the first six games of the season, Tsohonis averaged 15 points per game, a performance that contributed to the team’s strong record, having lost only one match in the first division during the fall. Tsohonis’s departure will be filled by Allen Flanigan. According to the club’s statement, Flanigan stands 198 cm tall and is capable of playing both guard and forward positions. Born in 2001, Flanigan played college basketball for the Auburn Tigers in the SEC from 2019 to 2023. After graduating, he has played professionally in France and Portugal. The club’s season has been competitive, with only one loss in the first division. The race for promotion to the Úrvalsdeild (top division) is expected to be tight this winter, as Haukar remain undefeated and Þór from Þorlákshöfn have also recorded only one defeat.
