Drama për pasurinë e Michael Jackson, Paris përballet me një tjetër pengesë në gjykatë

Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late pop icon Michael Jackson, has entered a new phase in her legal battle over her father’s estate. A Los Angeles judge has granted the estate’s administrator, John Branca, the right to keep certain legal expenses, costs, and financial reporting information confidential. The decision was based on the argument that disclosure could affect ongoing litigation and commercial relationships. The court did not rule against Jackson’s primary claim. Jackson’s lawsuit seeks to compel the administrators to transfer approximately $600 million to a family trust she created for herself and her brothers, Prince and Bigi. In documents filed on October 29, she alleged that the trust was not funded in accordance with her father’s wishes, despite the estate’s substantial earnings over the years. Jackson argues that the heirs have not received the benefits she claims were stipulated in Michael Jackson’s will and that they remain dependent on the administrators for the timing and manner of distributions. She requests that the court order an initial transfer of $600 million or an amount the judge deems reasonable. Representatives for the estate counter that unresolved legal and financial matters, including a dispute with U.S. tax authorities, prevent full funding of the trust. They also deny claims that they deliberately kept the children away from their money, noting that more than $200 million has already been distributed or spent for the beneficiaries’ benefit. When Michael Jackson died in 2009 at age 50, his estate was burdened with debts estimated at $500 million. Subsequent years have seen a dramatic financial turnaround, with music rights, asset sales, and brand‑related projects turning the estate into a multi‑billion‑dollar enterprise.
