The new Lancia Gamma was officially presented during an institutional event held at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy in Rome. The vehicle is positioned as the brand’s flagship SUV marking its 120th anniversary.
The presentation was attended by Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy; Vito Bardi, President of the Basilicata Region; Emanuele Cappellano, COO of Enlarged Europe at Stellantis; and Antonella Bruno, Managing Director of Stellantis Italia. The event served to highlight the role of the Gamma model within Lancia’s future roadmap and the broader industrial strategy of Stellantis in Italy.
According to the company, the vehicle was designed at the Lancia Style Center in Turin. The development and industrialization processes were conducted in Italy, and production is scheduled to take place at the Stellantis plant in Melfi. The project involves a network of designers, engineers, technicians, and suppliers based in the country.
