Miss World Belize Faith Edgar has achieved a Top 40 placement at the 73rd Miss World pageant held in Vietnam. Edgar secured her position in the competition by finishing among the top 10 contestants representing the Americas and the Caribbean region.
Edgar earned her advancement to the Top 40 by winning the Beauty With a Purpose challenge for the Americas and Caribbean. Her project, titled Smiles for Belize, was the focus of her entry in the challenge.
According to reports, Belize was the only Central American nation to advance to the Top 40 stage of the competition. Prior to her departure for the pageant, Edgar was honored with a send-off event in San Pedro, which included a parade featuring the San Pedro High School Marching Band.
