**Russia Says It Hit Ukrainian Transshipment Terminal in Mykolaiv**

According to the ministry, the attack damaged facilities that handle fuel and lubricants and caused a temporary power outage that halted the city’s public‑transport network.
The ministry added that the strike also hit “refuelling vessels and unloading points for fuel and lubricants.” No independent verification of the damage has been provided at this time.
In a separate incident, Russian authorities reported that three people were killed and nine injured, including three in serious condition, after a Ukrainian drone attack in Russia’s Belgorod region. Local officials in Belgorod confirmed the casualties.
The Russian statement also claimed that missiles struck logistics warehouses in Kyiv that, according to Moscow, stored components for Ukraine’s domestically produced “Flamingo” cruise missiles. The Moscow Times was unable to independently confirm whether the targeted facility was linked to Flamingo missile production. Local Ukrainian authorities said at least 37 people died in a secondary explosion that followed the blast.
Additionally, Russian officials said they had hit a site in the town of Kalinivka that handles shipments of military hardware from Western allies to Kyiv. The ministry described the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine as a “red line” for Russia, a stance it has maintained since the full‑scale invasion began in February 2022. On August 27, Russia warned it could target British military assets inside and outside Ukraine in response to alleged use of British weapons against Russian territory.
The Russian Defense Ministry also reported that its troops captured the village of Khrapivshchyna in Ukraine’s Sumy region, as well as the villages of Novoandriivka and Rubizhne in the Donetsk region.
