Rihanna Brings Her Three Children Back to Her Childhood Home on Rihanna Drive

Barbadian superstar Rihanna has shared a special full-circle moment after taking all three of her children back to the neighbourhood where her extraordinary journey began — Rihanna Drive in Barbados.

The 38-year-old singer, entrepreneur and National Hero of Barbados visited her childhood home with her children RZA, Riot Rose and Rocki, offering fans a rare glimpse of the family during the sentimental homecoming.

Rihanna reflected on the contrast between being a young girl growing up in the Westbury community and now returning to the same street with children of her own.

“One minute I feel like that kid from Westbury…the next minute I’m bringing my own kids back to ‘Rihanna Drive’,” she wrote while sharing images from the visit. She described the experience as surreal and credited her journey to her faith.

The location carries enormous significance in Rihanna’s story.

Before it carried the name of one of the world’s most recognisable entertainers, the street was known as Westbury New Road. Rihanna spent much of her childhood there, growing up in a modest home near Bridgetown before eventually leaving Barbados to pursue the music career that would transform her life.

In 2017, the Government of Barbados officially renamed Westbury New Road “Rihanna Drive” in recognition of the Barbadian star. During the dedication ceremony, Rihanna spoke about riding bicycles, running barefoot and dreaming big while growing up in the community.

Her childhood home and the surrounding street have since become landmarks for visitors to Barbados, with fans regularly travelling to the area to see where Robyn Rihanna Fenty’s journey began.

The latest visit comes during another return to her homeland. Rihanna was recently among the major attractions at Barbados’ 2026 Crop Over celebrations, making a highly anticipated appearance at Grand Kadooment on August 3.

But away from the costumes, international fame and billion-dollar business empire, her visit to Westbury offered a considerably more personal image: a Barbadian mother introducing the next generation of her family to the place that shaped her.

For Rihanna, the road that once represented where her dreams began now bears her name — and this time, she returned with her three children to show them where it all started.
