Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge announced on Saturday that state authorities have identified at least 1,000 illegal immigrants over the past three months. The identifications were made during rigorous screening operations targeting individuals from Bangladesh and Africa.
According to Minister Kharge, the state will maintain a strict, zero-tolerance approach to the issue. He made the announcement while speaking to reporters in Bangalore, Karnataka, on August 8.
