Rayon Sports Wins CECAFA Kagame Cup 2026
Rayon Sports has emerged as the champion of the CECAFA Kagame Cup 2026. The team defeated Gor Mahia from Kenya in the final match, winning 2-1.
The winning goal was scored in the 30th minute of extra time by 19-year-old Daniel Muhonza. This goal added to the one scored by Junior Kameni earlier in the game.
The match between Rayon Sports and Gor Mahia was closely contested, with Rayon Sports ultimately coming out on top. The team’s victory marks a significant achievement for Rwandan football.
