Police General Samran Nuanma, who was born in Bang Kao subdistrict, Cha-am district, Phetchaburi province, was selected as the 16th Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police. Nuanma’s rise reflects his long career within the police force, and his appointment is expected to bring attention to Cha-am, a district known for its beaches and proximity to Hua Hin.
