PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago – National Flour Mills Limited (NFM) is warning members of the public to ignore a fraudulent job advertisement circulating on social media that falsely claims the company is recruiting for multiple full-time and part-time positions.
In a public statement, NFM said it had become aware of a generic advertisement inviting applications for employment at the company. However, the organization stressed that the advertisement was not authorized and does not represent its official recruitment process.
The company described the circulating post as misleading and clarified that it is not conducting a mass recruitment exercise at this time.
NFM is urging job seekers to exercise caution when responding to employment advertisements shared online and to verify opportunities through the company’s official communication channels before submitting personal information or applications.
The warning comes amid growing concerns over fraudulent job advertisements on social media, which are often used to collect personal information or deceive unsuspecting applicants.
National Flour Mills has advised the public to disregard the unauthorized advertisement and remain vigilant against online recruitment scams.
