Assistant Commissioner of Police Brian Soodeen announced that the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) will reassess the policy of conducting road traffic exercises during peak hours. The decision was prompted by concerns about traffic jams caused by police and Licensing exercises, especially evident on the first day of the school term. This issue was brought up during a Joint Select Committee (JSC) meeting, convened to evaluate the efficiency of the traffic management system in Trinidad and Tobago.
