Police are on the hunt for two criminals who broke into the home of an 81-year-old woman in Laventille, covering her face with a pillow before robbing her of $300. The elderly victim was awakened by suspicious noises in her living room around 1.15 am on November 2. Upon investigating, she was met by two men, one armed with a gun. They demanded her money, led her back to her bedroom, and covered her face with a pillow before making away with her handbag containing $300. The men managed to elude capture, escaping from the house. The case is currently under investigation by PC Cyril of the Besson Street Police Station.
