A Form Four student was arrested at a Valencia secondary school after being found in possession of cannabis and a concealed weapon. The 16-year-old was noticed behaving oddly during a routine patrol, leading to a search. During the escort to the principal’s office, the student was seen passing a rag to a classmate. An intervention revealed the rag contained a bag with 15 packets of cannabis, weighing in total 10 grams. Further search revealed a concealed four-inch pocket knife. The school authorities contacted the local police, and the student was detained and transported to the police station. After medical checks, he was taken to the Booking Centre, pending placement at the Juvenile Suite. Charges are expected to be filed, with a court appearance scheduled for the following day.
