The statement highlights concerns regarding the safety, security, and rights of individuals operating in conflict-affected areas of the country.
The joint statement was delivered by Ambassador Rytis Paulauskas, the Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the United Nations. The coalition emphasized that ongoing armed conflict in Ethiopia necessitates urgent measures to ensure the safety of those providing aid and the protection of the civilian population.
