On Friday, 18 September, a 17‑year‑old student in the Chalkidiki region of Greece lost consciousness outside the Lyceum in Pefkochori.
According to local reports, the teenager experienced severe discomfort and collapsed shortly after leaving the school premises. He was initially treated at the Health Center of Kassandreia before being transferred to the Hippokratiou Hospital in Thessaloniki.
Medical staff at Hippokratiou have indicated that the student is in a critical condition and is intubated in the coronary unit. Authorities suspect a cardiac arrest, and the student also sustained a head injury and has shown signs of epileptic seizures.
