Two USF Students Missing: Last Seen on Tampa Campus and Nearby Residence

Zamil Limon and Nahida S. Bristy, both 27 years old and originally from Bangladesh, have been reported missing in Tampa, Florida. Limon was last seen at his residence on Thursday at 9 a.m., while Bristy was spotted an hour later at the Natural and Environmental Sciences (NES) Building on the University of South Florida (USF) campus. The two are friends and are believed to possibly be together during this time.

Limon is currently a doctoral student specializing in geography, environmental science, and policy. In contrast, Bristy is pursuing a degree in chemical engineering. Their disappearance was first noted by a family friend who expressed concern on April 17 when attempts to contact them were unsuccessful.

Subsequently, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office processed missing persons reports for both individuals. Authorities have entered their names into missing persons databases as the search for them continues. The proximity of Limon’s home to the NES Building, less than a 10-minute drive away, raises questions about their last known activities.

As the investigation unfolds, officials are encouraging anyone with information to come forward. The community remains hopeful for their safe return.
