The Prime Minister’s comments come as he leads tours at significant development projects, including the near-completion of the Booby Alley housing redevelopment in St. John’s City West. This initiative, he notes, reflects his government’s efforts towards environmental resilience and social inclusion, with plans to further water security and housing availability through strategic partnerships, such as those with China.
Supporting his call for sustained leadership, Browne cited recent polls indicating public approval of ABLP initiatives. He painted a picture of strong backing for his administration, projecting confidence in his party’s ability to unify the nation, including historically divided regions like Barbuda. His vision includes enhanced collaboration and development that transcends political divides.
In addition, Housing and Works Minister Maria Browne reiterated the ABLP’s commitment to accelerating infrastructure projects, promising significant advances in roadworks and job creation if reelected. Her remarks echoed the sentiment that the ABLP has laid a robust foundation for future growth, disrupted only briefly by external challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic.
