The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) confirmed the execution of search warrants at locations in Westmoorings and Trincity today. These warrants, lawfully issued by the Supreme Court of Judicature, are part of an ongoing investigation.
During the operation, two individuals were detained and are currently assisting the police with their enquiries. However, no charges have been laid at this time. The searches are related to Blue Waters owner, Dominic Hadeed. This comes three months after Hadeed put the government under fire over tax increases and VAT refunds.
