On Friday, 10th July 2026, a significant event occurred as the MV Galleons Passage docked at the International Port of La Guaira, Venezuela. The arrival was overseen by Dayne-Marc Chin Slick, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. and Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in Caracas. His presence underscored the importance of this mission and the commitment of his government to aid in times of need.

Also present at the port during this remarkable event was Admiral Hernandez Abchi, Commandant of the Humanitarian Effort at the Port of La Guaira. His involvement further emphasized the combined efforts of the two nations in this humanitarian mission.

The Honourable Raul Li Causi, Vice Minister for Caribbean Affairs of the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, also attended the arrival. His attendance highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the Caribbean countries in addressing the challenges faced by the region.
