A 24-year-old Guyanese national, Jamal Bourne, who was a suspect in a murder case, accidentally shot himself in the head during a live broadcast on TikTok. Known by his alias ‘Skinny’, Bourne was streaming live on the platform alongside another armed man. He was seen handling a firearm, wearing a balaclava, and making seemingly threatening statements to his viewers. The unintentional discharge of his weapon, leading to his death, was witnessed by numerous viewers. Bourne was later pronounced dead, and investigations into the incident are currently underway.
