On Saturday, Minister of Housing Collin Croal conducted essential site inspections at Block CHPA Extension, Bartica South, and Tract BAR in Region Seven. This visit was aimed at monitoring the progress of a $2.1 billion infrastructure investment. Minister Croal evaluated the advancements in land clearing, drainage, and road construction, which have already resulted in the allocation of over 500 house lots and 55 housing units over the past two years.
During his inspection, Croal confirmed that allottees at Five Miles Extension are now ready to begin home construction. He also noted that survey works at Bartica South are expected to conclude by the end of the month. At Tract BAR, where construction is currently 38% complete, beneficiaries will gain access to their land by late August.
These developments are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance housing and infrastructure in the region, ensuring that residents have better access to essential services and housing opportunities.
