Dr. Malachi Dottin, a key organizer and president of the Committee of Grenada Graduates from Cuba, encourages broad national involvement. His call to action is directed at various stakeholders across Grenadian society, including trade unions, churches, farmers, government officials, artists, and local businesses. This broad coalition aims to demonstrate Grenada’s commitment to international support and solidarity.
The campaign features a series of events intended to facilitate public participation and contributions. Planned activities include solidarity breakfasts, dinners, and concerts, creating platforms for Grenadians to express their support and appreciation for Cuba’s assistance over the years. Notably, Cuba has been instrumental in aiding Grenada in several sectors, particularly healthcare, education, and infrastructure development, with the Maurice Bishop International Airport standing as a testament to this historical partnership.
