CAYE regresa en su tercera edición para transformar a Ciudad Nueva en el escenario cultural de SD

CAYE Returns for Third Edition, Transforming Ciudad Nueva into Santo Domingo’s Cultural Hub The third edition of CAYE (Creatividad, Arte y Entretenimiento) will take place on November 7 and 8, 2026, turning the historic sector of Ciudad Nueva into an open‑air cultural venue. The free festival will feature live music, artistic interventions, gastronomy, design, fashion, technology activations, workshops, and community activities across streets, parks, and heritage façades. Organizers aim to cement Ciudad Nueva as a key meeting point for Santo Domingo’s cultural and creative life. “In CAYE, the people are the festival. Every artist, entrepreneur, neighbor, and attendee makes possible a collective experience that values our identity and everything we can build together,” said the event’s organizers. CAYE has already attracted more than 25,000 participants over its first two editions, positioning itself as a civic platform that connects local creators, residents, micro‑entrepreneurs, and visitors. The project promotes closer ties between people and their city, using culture to stimulate the neighborhood economy and strengthen community bonds. The festival is open to audiences of all ages and interests, inviting attendees to rediscover Ciudad Nueva’s architectural, human, and traditional richness through contemporary expressions and community dialogue spaces.
