Peter C Lewis has confirmed that his voice was used to help support Machel Montano during at least one period in their Xtatik years.
The revelation came near the end of Lewis’ appearance on the Cory Shepherd podcast when he was asked directly whether audiences had sometimes been hearing Lewis while Montano was experiencing problems with his voice.
Lewis confirmed that he had helped his longtime friend vocally from behind the scenes.
He said the assistance was simply part of supporting a friend who needed help doing his job.
Lewis stressed that he did not view the situation as controversial and noted that he was not presenting himself publicly on stage as Montano.
According to Lewis, most listeners would never have known about the assistance unless the story was later disclosed.
The admission added another detail to Lewis’ account of his long professional and personal relationship with Montano, which included performing together, developing music and working on television-related projects. :chatgpt-content-reference{index=”9″}
