PHOTOS: Shettima off to New York for 81st UNGA

Vice President Kashim Shettima departed Nigeria on Sunday afternoon to attend the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York. He left from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

The 81st session of the General Debate is scheduled to take place from September 22 to September 28, 2026. This year’s assembly is being held under the theme, Restoring trust, managing transformation: A United Nations that delivers for all.
