Togo : des perturbations électriques annoncées jusqu’au 21 septembre

The Compagnie Energie Electrique du Togo (CEET) has announced that electrical service disruptions are expected across its distribution network starting Friday, September 18, 2026. The utility company stated that these interruptions will continue through September 21, 2026.

According to the CEET, the power supply issues are caused by a reduction in the availability of natural gas required to operate thermal power plants. This shortage follows a reported leak in a gas pipeline located in Nigeria, which has impacted the fuel supply chain.
