The Electronic Merchant Cash Advance (eMCA) offers eligible businesses up to Shs70 million in working capital.
Unlike traditional loans that require physical collateral, the eMCA evaluates a merchant’s digital transaction history to determine eligibility.
The facility is intended to provide short‑term financing for companies that receive payments through electronic channels.
The launch was announced in Kampala, Uganda, by Ecobank Uganda’s management team.
