The Peruvian Judiciary has imposed a nine-month travel ban on sculptor Luis Sifuentes, known as Mamanka, as he faces an investigation into allegations of aggravated human trafficking, exploitation, and sexual assault. According to the Public Ministry, the investigation centers on allegations involving a Colombian national. Authorities allege that Sifuentes sexually abused the victim in Colombia before transporting her to Lima, where she was allegedly subjected to sexual exploitation.
The Public Ministry confirmed that it is coordinating with the District Unit for the Protection and Assistance of Victims and Witnesses to provide the victim with multidisciplinary and specialized support throughout the legal process. Prosecutors have initiated urgent investigative measures to clarify the circumstances of the case and ensure the victim’s continued protection.
