Applied Science University (ASU) has achieved a 5+ Star rating in the QS Stars global higher education ranking system. This recognition places the institution among a select group of only 30 universities worldwide to receive this comprehensive evaluation.
The assessment was based on nine international criteria, including the quality of education, scientific research, graduate employability, governance, internationalization, campus facilities, and social impact.
Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al-Jahrami, Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council, congratulated the university on the achievement. She stated that the rating reflects the progress made in academic and institutional performance and enhances the competitiveness of Bahraini higher education institutions on both regional and international levels.
Professor Waheeb Al-Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the university, attributed the international recognition to a sustained commitment to institutional work and investment in educational quality. University President Professor Hatem Masri added that the rating demonstrates the successful implementation of the university’s strategic plans and its ongoing dedication to developing academic and research programs while strengthening international partnerships.
