The Trinidad and Tobago Met Office released its official weather forecast for Monday 21 September 2026 at 06:08 AM. The forecast covers the period until midnight and provides guidance for residents and visitors across the islands.
Across Trinidad, Tobago and the Windward Islands the day is expected to be hot and sunny, punctuated by isolated showers. There is a 15 % chance of an isolated thunderstorm over or near western Trinidad. Nighttime conditions will be mostly fair with occasional showers.
The Leeward Islands will also enjoy hot, sunny weather, interrupted by partly cloudy spells and isolated showers. A 30 % chance of isolated thunderstorms is forecast for the northern Leewards, while evenings remain mostly clear with scattered rain.
Temperatures remain high, with Piarco recording a minimum of 25.2 °C last night and a forecast maximum of 34 °C. Crown Point logged a minimum of 27.7 °C and a projected maximum of 32 °C. Sea conditions are described as slight waves, near 1.0 m in open waters and below 0.5 m in sheltered areas.
