NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2026 – Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, a member of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Political Bureau, met with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in New York before the start of economic and trade consultations between the two countries.
