Police Officers Recognised For Years Without Taking Sick Leave

Police officers in Trinidad and Tobago have been recognised for maintaining years of service without utilising sick leave.

Inspector Khan, officer in charge of the Couva Police Station, and WPC Andrews were among those recognised at the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Exemplary Attendance Recognition Ceremony.

According to the Couva Police Station Community Council, the recognition included officers who completed five and ten consecutive years without utilising sick leave.

The council congratulated Inspector Khan, WPC Andrews and the other honourees, describing their attendance records as a reflection of discipline, consistency, reliability and professionalism.

“Behind every emergency answered, every citizen assisted, and every shift worked, someone has to show up,” the council said.

It added that the recognition highlighted the officers’ continued commitment to reporting for duty and serving the public.

The Couva Police Station Community Council said it was proud to recognise the officers for their dedication and commitment to service.
