Alpha Ladder Finance Pte. Ltd., through its WealthX platform, announced on 11 September 2026 that it would provide institutional and accredited investors in selected Asian markets with access to Payward’s xStocks tokenised equities.
The launch follows a memorandum of understanding signed between Alpha Ladder, MetaComp and Payward to advance tokenised capital markets across the Asia‑Pacific region. Under the agreement, Alpha Ladder will act as a distribution partner for xStocks in the designated markets.
xStocks tokenised equities bring publicly listed U.S. equities onto blockchain infrastructure using fully collateralised, 1:1‑backed tokens. The platform offers round‑the‑clock availability and digital‑native settlement. According to Dune Analytics, xStocks lists more than 700 assets, has processed over US$40 billion in combined transaction volume, and has more than 200,000 unique holders worldwide.
Tokenised securities are gaining traction among institutional investors. On‑chain real‑world asset (RWA) value reached approximately US$19.3 billion at the end of March 2026, up from about US$5.4 billion in January 2025, according to CoinGecko. A 2026 EY and Coinbase Institutional Investor Survey found that 63 % of institutional investors worldwide were “very interested” in tokenised assets, up from 57 % a year earlier. McKinsey estimates that total tokenised market capitalisation could reach roughly US$2 trillion by 2030, excluding cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.
The launch expands Alpha Ladder’s RWA offering beyond traditional investment products, providing eligible investors with access to tokenised global equities through a regulated wealth‑management relationship. Alpha Ladder is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a Capital Markets Services provider and offers institutional‑grade infrastructure for tokenisation, trading and custody.
