Port Alfred surfer Carl Wiersma and fellow South African Leah Lepront have been selected to compete in the 2026 Rip Curl GromSearch International Final, supported by Sun Bum. The competition is scheduled to take place in Narrabeen, Australia, from November 7 to November 10, 2026.
The event will feature 16 of the top under-16 surfers from around the world. Wiersma is a member of the Kowie Boardriders Club.
