**FC Canchungo Makes Historic Debut in CAF Champions League, Falls 1‑0 to Senegal’s Teungueth FC**

The club was defeated 1‑0 by Teungueth FC, the reigning champions of Senegal, in the preliminary round’s first leg.
The game was held at the Estádio 24 de Setembro in Bissau, the only stadium in the country that meets the Confederation of African Football (CAF) requirements for international competitions. Attendance was limited, with a small number of supporters in the stands.
The match was evenly contested in the first half, with both teams creating chances but ending the period at 0‑0. In the second half, Teungueth FC gained a slight advantage in possession, but FC Canchungo’s defense held firm.
