**CDD-Ghana Urges Chief Justice to Maintain Political Neutrality**
The Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), a civil society organization dedicated to democracy and public accountability, has issued a call for the Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, to exercise greater restraint and discretion during public engagements.
In a statement, the organization cautioned that recent remarks attributed to the Chief Justice risk creating a perception of political bias. CDD-Ghana warned that such perceptions could undermine public confidence in the judiciary and its role as an impartial arbiter.
The organization emphasized the importance of the judiciary maintaining a neutral stance to preserve its institutional integrity and public trust.
