**Harimau Malaya to Use New Training Base in Putrajaya Ahead of 2026 ASEAN Cup**
KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysia national football team, known as Harimau Malaya, will relocate its training operations to the National Training Centre (NTC) of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) in Precinct 5, Putrajaya. The move comes after the team had relied on a variety of venues for preparation.
The new base will serve as the squad’s preparation hub for the 2026 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Cup, which is scheduled to begin on 25 September. The NTC in Putrajaya offers a dedicated facility for the team’s training and logistical needs as it readies for the tournament.
