**Seven Grain Wagons Derail Near Chircani with No Injuries Reported**
Seven freight wagons loaded with grain derailed on the evening of August 15, 2026, near the village of Chircani, according to an announcement by Railway of Moldova (CFM).
The incident involved a train traveling toward Giurgiulești. Authorities reported no injuries. The derailed wagons remained upright, and the grain cargo was not damaged.
CFM stated that it immediately activated standard response procedures following the incident.
