A military operation in the Mexican state of Sinaloa has resulted in the detention of 28 individuals allegedly affiliated with the Pacific Cartel. According to reports, the operation was carried out by authorities from the National Defense Secretariat in the municipality of Mazatlán.
The operation, which targeted suspected generators of violence, was conducted by elements of the National Guard. As a result, 28 people were taken into custody for their presumed ties to the Pacific Cartel, a known criminal organization.
The National Defense Secretariat has not released further details on the operation or the detainees. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat organized crime in the region.
